Joey Antonio

Joey Antonio has been a visual performance artist starting in 2013 after learning American Sign Language; however, dancing and performing have been a massive part of his life. He has been in connection with the Deaf communities around the globe ever since. After being in a music video production with a Deaf and Hard of Hearing cast, his life took a needed shift. Joey enjoys the whole output of creating ASL music videos, from creating translations to character development. He later decided to go back to college at Gallaudet University. Fast forward, Joey had completed his Bachelor's in 2020, now obtaining a Master's for Sign Language Education, which I will be graduating with, in 2021. He looks forward to connecting with the Sign Language Center's family and to growing a multilingual, multicultural, collaborative network virtually and physically through sign language. @thatjoeyantonio
