Chaya Selzer

Chaya Selzer is a Deaf New York Native! Born and raised in Coney Island, Brooklyn. She graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). She is excited to share her knowledge of ASL with prospective students!

Photography is her passion. She is a lifestyle photographer. She gets the chance to meet different types of people and she can connect with both hearing and Deaf worlds through ASL.

Teaching ASL has become more important to her as modern society has become more acceptable and knowledgeable of wanting to learn ASL from native Deaf people. Deaf individuals are involved in society as much as hearing people are and people want to learn to communicate with the Deaf community.
