Treshelle Edmond
My name is Treshelle Edmond. I am a Black Deaf actress and ASL music performer, now stepping into the exciting world of teaching ASL! Born in California but raised in the heart of Birmingham, Alabama. I earned my BA from California State University, Northridge (CSUN) and moved to New York City. I've always been deeply connected to self-expression and the beauty of connection. My journey has taken me from the stages of Broadway to television, film, and music fueled by a lifelong passion for the arts.
Now, I'm thrilled to embrace this new chapter-- teaching ASL and inspiring diverse students who share my love for this beautiful language. I'm proud to be part of the Sign Language Center team, where I can continue bridging the worlds of ASL and visual arts through meaningful connections. SLC is a space where creativity and curiosity shine, bringing together both Deaf and hearing individuals to celebrate the power of sign language!
